Her design work has been featured in Australian House & Garden Magazine and Interiors Magazine. Jill is seen from time to time on Channel Nine's Brisbane Extra, giving design and decorating advice, and has also appeared on the Today Show and Today Tonight.

After several years in the design industry, Jill saw a need for more "hands on" design ownership for people who were building and renovating. She developed a six week course where she taught home owners the basic principles of design, and during the sessions they would use their homes as their projects. The courses have been extremely popular with home owners and also within the building industry.

A short time later, Jill saw a further need for visualization - something that would give people a “sneak preview” of their homes, and allow them to make decisions based on knowledge rather than make mistakes due to a lack of foresight. After contacting many of the same companies she had gained support from for her courses, she decided to develop a home and interior design software program that used real products, colour and finishes. After teaming up with a small group, the software was developed and launched. Jill uses the software, now known as MyVirtualHome in many of her design applications. 

Jill made the decision to return to full-time interior design, and has been working with her new and past clients ever since. The majority of Jill's business is by referral and repeat business.
